Science (transportation of substances in humans and other living beings)

o1 Define-

1 Osmosis-It is a process of movement of water molecules from a weaker solution to a strong solution through a semi-permeable membrane.

2 Transpiration pull-When transpiration takes place the water in the leaves is lost. The leaves swollen and the veins pull water from the xylem tubes. As we know that the xylem tube is inside that stem and it’s some part is also in the roots. So, we can say that the leaves pull water from the stem and in turn the stem pulls water from the roots. This is called the transpiration pull.

3 Diffusion-The process in which the gases or liquids move from the are of higher concentration to the area of lower concentration.

4 Blood- It is a liquid tissue made up of plasma and blood cells.

5 RBC (red blood cells)- They are also called erythrocytes. They are small, disc shaped cells and when they pass through very thin blood vessel they fold themselves to pass through it. They do not have any nucleus. They live for about 10o to 150 days after which they are destroyed by the liver. Their main function is to carry oxygen . The red pigment present in it called haemoglobin attatches with the oxygen to form oxyhaemoglobin. This pigment is used to carry oxygen as well as giving the cell it’s red color. There are about a million red cells in about 1 cubic millimetre.

6 WBC (white blood cells)-They are also called leucocytes. They have a nucles and live for an hour or about years. There are two types of WBC’s . Cells which have granules are called granulocytes and cells which do not have are called agranulocytes. They are larger than RBC but fewer in number. There about 5000 to 7000 WBCs in 1 cubic millimetre. They are usually spherical in shape. There main function is to fight against infections and keep our body healthy.

7 Plateletes-They are also called thrombocytes. They are smaller than the RBC. They are also made in bone marrow. Their life span is about 7-14 days. Thier main function is to help our blood to clot. There are about a quarter of million platelets in one cubic millimetre.

8 Oxygenated blood- Blood containing a lot of oxygen is called oxygenated blood. It is red in color. The left atrium receives this oxygenated blood from the lungs.

9 Deoxygenated blood- Blood containg little oxygen and more gases like carbon dioxid is deoxygenated blood. It is dark purplish in color. The right atrium receives deoxygenated blood from the rest of the body.

10 Diastole- When all the heart muscles relax the blood enters the heart from the right and left atrium. The left atrium receives blood from the pulmonary vein from the lungs. The right atrium receives blood from two blood vessels namely – the superior vena cava and the inferior vena cava. This phase is known as diastole.

11 Systole-When the auricles are filled with blood they contract and push the blood into the ventricles. The ventricles contract and push the blood in two blood vessels the pulmonary artery and the drosal aorta. The right ventricle contracts to sent the blood into the pulmonary artery to take the deoxygenated blood to the lungs for purification and the left ventricle contracts to send the blood into the aorta which distributes the blood throughout the body. With the pressure the tricuspid and the bicuspid valves close making a lubb sound. When the ventricles relax the semi-lunar valves close making a dubb sound. This phase is called systole.

12  Transpiration- It is the process by which leaves and some other aerial parts of  the plant lose extra water. The leaves lose water through stomata.

13  Haemorrhage- If somebody meets an accident he gets a wound or something or else by chance your blood vessel bursts you will definetly lose blood. So, the loss of blood is called haemorrhage.

14  Nephrons- Each kidney of our body contains millions of tiny units called nephrons which remove the waste from the blood and form a waste liquid called urine.

Kabir’s God

If you are an Indian, then you must be knowing Kabir. He was a great man, a weaver, a poet, a philosopher and of course a genius. I have heard many stories about him but my teacher surprised me when she told me the story of Kabir’s god and friends I want to share it with all of you. She told me that once Kabir said that god is nature. You may heard this line from many big philosophers. But I don’t think that anybody would be able to prove this, especially at that time. He said ‘ we praise pictures and models of god. These things are made up of materials derived from the nature. So, what are we praising? We are praising nature.” So, can you just believe how deep could the people of 16th century think. YOU just think.

IIT vs MIT

I have visited quite a few forums and blogs regarding this question and every time I get the same answer that MIT is better than IIT. Why? I want to ask all of them why do you think that MIT is better than IIT. Facility….equipments or level of education. I agree that facility and equipments of MIT are better than those of IIT. But, I think that IIT has a higher level of education than of MIT. Because I have heard lectures in MIT as well as in IIT through net and believe me that IIT has really got a better one. If you tell a person who has just pass MIT’s exam and tell him to solve the paper of IIT he will not be able solve it. But, on the other hand if you tell the same thing to an IIT one he will be able to solve. I am not criticizing any system as both of them are best in their regions. But still I will support IIT as I am going to try in it after 6 years and its the best engineering collage in my country.

Green day vs bonjovi

Green day and Bonjovi both are amazing. I am addicted to both of them. Their songs like ‘It’s my life’ and ‘wake me up when’ are fabulous. Its very difficult to say that who is better than whom. Actually both of them have different genres. Green day’s genres are punk rock, alternate rock and pop punk. Bon jovi’s genres are heavy metal, glam metal and hard rock. If you check both of their records you will find that jon bon jovi is more succesful than green day. But, the best band is the band whose songs are soothing to your ears. I like both of them, but I think I will support Bon jovi because I like metal and his voice is amazing.

If you are fans of green day and bon jovi I recommend you to listen Both of their newest albums. Below is the links of best songs of their newest albums-

New year’s gift mobile phones

New year is here and mobile phones are all over. As you step out of your house you will see that everybody is taking out his/her mobile phone calling somebody and wishing happy new year. This is my favorite day of the year because one step of my school life gets over and I’m promoted to the next level. On the first when I stepped outta my house I saw that for people, mobile phones have become more handy. It seemed as if the god gave them all a mobile phone as a new year’s gift.

According to me the best 3 wonders of the world are as follows-

1. Pyramids of Giza- Everybody knows that the Pyramids of Giza are the only ancient man-made structure in the 7 wonders of the world list. its located in cairo, egypt. If you see this beautiful man-made structure you will definately say that how wonderful it is and how much difficult it would to construct such a wonder at that time.

2. Taj Mahal- This great monument deserve the 2nd position on the board. It is located in Agra,India It was made up of white marbles. More than 20,000 workers built it and then their hands were cut by the ruler so that a monument like this could not me constructed again.

CRICKET

Introduction-In India the sport or game that is found in in each street and every corner is of course cricket. Although India’s national sport is hockey, cricket is given more importance. The main attraction of cricket in India are Sewhag, Ms-Dhoni and the most record holder in the history of the cricket Sachin Tendulkar.

History-The British brought cricket to India in the early 1700s, with the first cricket match played in 1721. In 1848, the Parsi community in Bombay formed the Oriental Cricket Club, the first cricket club to be established by Indians. After slow beginnings, the Europeans eventually invited the Parsis to play a match in 1877. By 1912, the Parsis,Sikhs, Hindus, and Muslims of Bombay played a quadrangular tournament with the Europeans every year. In the early 1900s, some Indians went on to play for the English cricket team. Some of these, such as Ranjjtsinhji and Ks Duleepsinhji were greatly appreciated by the British and their names went on to be used for the Ranji Trophy and Duleep Trophy- two major first class tournaments in India. In 1911, an Indian team went on their first official tour of England, but only played English county teams and not the English cricket team.

Achievement- India won World cup in1983 /  India won 20 20 world cup in 2007

Dream

What is dream? Nobody knows that what exactly is dream. I’m not talking about your ambition or something. I’m talking about the visual represented in your mind when you are sleeping. What is it? I have seen many documentaries and read about dream. But, in each there’s a different explanation. You can’t even match the two explanations. after watching those scientific documentaries and reading books I went to common people and took their views on the term dream. But when I was on my search for the best explanation, I found a person who suprised me. His idea was a unique one. He said ” Dream is nothing but a filter and imaginator. It derives are old memories and deletes those memories which are of no use. And meanwhile it shows us images that are formed by are own imagination”. I don’t say that this is a perfect one. But still a good one. Till now there is no perfect explanation. But I know that ???oerionology will get one.

IIT JEE without training?

classroomIf you think that you can clear IIT JEE without any training then you are wrong. You have many institutes in India that can train you for IIT JEE. In my view if you are preparing for IIT JEE study in FIIT JEE not only because the previous IIT JEE topper Nitin jain studied in FIIT JEE, but also that it’s good. If you don’t want to get admission in FIIT JEE there are also many options like brilliant tutorials, naryana, vidya mandir, and some local institutes. There are only some cases in which children have clear IIT JEE without any training, but don’t take any chances and train yourself in some institute.

NO chance in IIT, then what?

serie_aieeeAdmission in IIT is not easy. IIT is the best engineering college in India. But, the question is that, if you don’t get admission in IIT then what. If you give the IIT entrance exam there are 85% of chances that you will fail because there are 8 lakh people who give this exam every year and only 8,000 are selected. So if you don’t get admission in IIT JEE the best option left is AIEEE. If you don’t get admission in AIEEE also try in state collage of the state in which you are living. If you want to try in IIT JEE second and last time you can try. But my advise would be don’t try in IIT JEE second time because then you will not get good internals and you would waste your one year.

Why IIT JEE

iit-jeeI have heard many people saying that why half of the India is after IIT JEE? The answer is a very common and useful thing, money. If you pass the entrance exam of IIT JEE your half of the fees is bared by the Indian government. And, also the education level in IIT JEE is very high. It’s the best institute of engineering in India. If you are an IIT JEE engineer in India, you can get job anywhere you want. If you are studying for the IIT JEE 2010 my best wishes are with you.

Secret of traffic

trafficThe secret of traffic on your site is publicity, there are a few means of publicity . First one is mouth to mouth publicity. The perfect way to do this publicity is conversation with your relatives, class mates, your friends, and known people. but, if you want more traffic on your site use some social networking sites like twitter.com, facebook.com, digg.com, orkut.com, and any other that you know. But this way you will not be able to attract a large number of traffic on your site. To attract a large number of traffic you need seo(search engine optimisation). there are some plugins to do it. But if you want to do it perfectly you will need some people to do that for you. Some people also attract illegal traffic by clicking on some sites. My advise is don’t take help of those sites to invite traffic on your site.
